Privacy

The short version

Your wheels, your lists and your results never leave your device. They are held in your browser's local storage, which this site can read but no server ever sees. There is no account, no sign-up, and no database of user wheels anywhere.

Two analytics services do run on the site and both collect anonymous usage statistics. Details and opt-outs are below.

What stays on your device

The wheel is drawn and spun entirely in your browser. Every spin is computed locally using your browser's own random number generator, so nothing about a spin is transmitted anywhere.

Held in your browser's local storage

• Your list of choices - so the wheel you built is still there next time.
• Your result tally - the running count on the Results tab.
• Your settings - spin speed, sound, confetti, repeat count and whether the settings panel is open.

Analytics

Two services measure how the site is used so it can be improved. Neither receives your list of choices or your spin results.

Google Analytics 4 records page views and a few product events: that a spin happened, which wheel page it happened on, how many entries were on the wheel, and whether fullscreen or the share button was used. It sets cookies and collects a truncated IP address. Google's own privacy policy governs the data it holds.

Cloudflare Web Analytics records page views without cookies and without tracking anyone across sites.

How to opt out

The site is built and tested to work perfectly with analytics blocked. Nothing breaks, and no feature is withheld.

Any of these work

• Use a browser or extension that blocks trackers.
• Enable Do Not Track or your browser's tracking protection.
• Install Google's opt-out add-on, which disables Google Analytics across every site you visit.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its own to tell one visit from another. Cloudflare Web Analytics sets none.

The list, tally and settings described above use local storage rather than cookies, so they are never attached to a network request and never reach any server.

Children

This is a general-audience tool with no account system and no collection of personal information. It is not directed at children under 13, and no personal data is knowingly collected from them.

Changes to this page

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it.
