Geography lessons
A fifty-state wheel is the classroom version of a spinner-and-map lesson. Spin, then locate it, name the capital, or say which states it borders - and the child answering was chosen by the wheel rather than by the teacher.

Yes, all fifty with an equal chance of each. That is the useful part - people asked to name a random state overwhelmingly pick the large and famous ones.
The labels look small. Does that affect the draw?
No. Fifty slices makes for small text, but the result is drawn before the animation runs and the result card shows the state clearly when the wheel stops.
Can I use only some states?
Yes. Paste just the states you want - the ones you would actually drive to, or one region for a lesson - and the wheel rebuilds.
Can I add capitals or abbreviations?
Yes. Entries are just text, so a wheel of capitals or two-letter codes works identically, and spinning a capital to name the state is the harder direction for teaching.
How do I work through all fifty without repeats?
Turn on Remove mode. Each state comes off the wheel after it is drawn, so successive spins cover the whole union in an order nobody chose.
