Dandy's World Toon Wheel
Forty-one toons, one spin. For challenge runs, breaking out of maining the same character, and content nobody had to script.
Stop maining the same toon
Most Dandy's World players settle on two or three toons and stop there. It is a reasonable habit - you know the stats, you know the routes - and it is also why a lot of the roster never gets played.
Spinning removes the choice. You get whoever the wheel lands on, including the ones you have been avoiding, which is the only reliable way most people ever learn a toon outside their usual three.
It also makes for a better run to watch. A player who knows exactly what they are doing is less interesting than one working out Shrimpo's stats live, which is why the format took off with content creators before it did with everyone else.
Challenge runs and content
The wheel turns a normal run into a format. Spin, play whoever comes up, and the constraint does the work - no scripting needed, and the audience sees the same draw you did.
Formats that work
- Random toon, every floor. Spin between floors and swap. Keeps a long run from settling into one rhythm.
- No repeats. Turn on Remove and each toon comes off the wheel after it is drawn. Work through the whole roster across a series and you have a season's worth of episodes.
- Team roles by spin. Everyone spins their own toon, so the team composition is whatever chance produced - which occasionally means three extractors and no support.
- Shrimpo runs. Weight the worst toon heavily and the wheel becomes a difficulty setting rather than a picker.
Editing the roster
The game adds toons, and event characters come and go, so any fixed list goes out of date. The list here is editable - paste your own, or delete the ones you have not unlocked so the wheel only draws what you can actually play.
That last point is the most common edit. A wheel that keeps landing on locked toons is a wheel you re-spin, and a re-spun wheel is not deciding anything.
The toons on this wheel
Forty-one toons, with an equal chance of each. Delete the ones you have not unlocked and the wheel only draws what you can play.
- Boxten
- One of the two starter toons, free from the beginning. Balanced stats and no special demands, which makes it the default pick and the one a random spin most usefully replaces.
- Poppy
- The other starter. Fast but fragile, so a spin that lands here is a run about outrunning trouble rather than surviving it.
- Shelly
- Built around extraction speed. Rewards players who know the map well enough to route between machines without stopping.
- Sprout
- Heals other players. Another support role, and one that changes how you play a floor entirely.
- Vee
- Reveals machine locations, which turns a chaotic run into a planned one. Often the toon that makes a bad random draw survivable for the rest of the team.
- Brightney
- Lights the area, mattering most in the darker floors where visibility is the actual difficulty rather than the twisteds.
- Astro
- Restores stamina for the team, which makes it a support pick rather than a solo one - and a genuinely different game from the extraction toons.
- Razzle & Dazzle
- Two toons in one character, and the reason lists of the roster disagree on the total count.
- Shrimpo
- Famously the worst stats in the game, and deliberately so. A wheel landing on Shrimpo is the challenge run people record on purpose.
- Eclipse
- An event toon rather than a base-roster one, so wheels built at different times disagree on whether to include it.
- Blot
- A later unlock with an art-themed kit. Commonly on wheels because it is one people have not learned yet.
- Dandy
- The shopkeeper, playable only in specific circumstances. Worth leaving on the wheel purely for the rarity of drawing it.

Why use this wheel
Most spinners for this game are wrapped in advertising, ask you to make an account, or both. The differences here are small and specific, and all of them are checkable.
- No ads and no sign-up. Not a trial or a free tier - there is no paid version and nothing is held back.
- The draw is cryptographic. Every spin uses your browser's crypto.getRandomValues(), the generator used for security tokens, rather than the ordinary Math.random(). The winner is picked before the animation is solved to land on it, so frame rate and spin length cannot influence the result.
- Your roster is saved and private. Edits are kept in your browser and never sent to a server, so the wheel you build tonight is the one you get tomorrow.
- It works offline. Once the page has loaded, every spin is computed locally - useful on a stream where you do not want a tool making network calls mid-run.
- Shareable without an account. The share button encodes your roster in the link, so everyone in a group gets the same wheel.
Questions
Dandy's World Wheel FAQ
How many toons are on the wheel?
Forty-one, covering the base roster plus commonly included event toons. The game adds characters over time, so edit the list to match the current roster or just the toons you have unlocked.
Can I remove toons I have not unlocked?
Yes, and you should. A wheel that keeps landing on locked toons is one you re-spin, and re-spinning defeats the point. Delete them and the wheel only draws what you can play.
How do I avoid getting the same toon twice?
Turn on Remove mode in Settings. Each toon comes off the wheel after it is drawn, so a series works through the roster with no repeats until the wheel is empty.
Can I make a specific toon more likely?
Yes, using weights. Weighting Shrimpo heavily turns the wheel into a difficulty setting rather than a picker, and the split is visible on the rim so nothing is hidden.
Can I share my wheel with a group?
Yes. The share button copies a link with your roster encoded in it, so everyone spins the same wheel without signing up.
Does it work while streaming?
Yes. Fullscreen mode shows the wheel alone with no interface around it, which suits a capture source, and after the page loads it makes no further network calls.
